A small “ice cream farm” in rural Missouri found itself jockeying for position in the crowded freezer aisles of major grocery retailers. With small batch, farm-to-bowl, locally grown ingredients—it wasn’t for tiny tots still refining their palettes. Instead, we decided to sell “grown up” ice cream to adults who were ready to get in touch with their kid self while still maintaining their gracefully aging sensibilities.
